Privacy policy

This notice describes how Rossi Group S.r.l. processes personal data of people who visit this website, send a contact request or use the customer portal, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian privacy law.

1. Data controller

2. Data we process

Depending on how you use the site, we may process:

  • identity and contact details you enter in the Contact form (name, email, phone if provided, company if provided, message);
  • technical data needed to run the site (for example language preference and login session);
  • aggregate visit statistics, collected without cookies and without building a profile of the individual visitor;
  • if you already have a customer portal account: login credentials and the company data already held in our management system (orders, invoices and related documents).

This website does not sell products online and does not offer a newsletter signup.

3. Why we process data and legal bases

We process data to:

  • reply to enquiries sent through the site (pre-contractual steps at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
  • keep the website working, secure and in the language you choose (legitimate interest in operating the site, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
  • understand, in anonymous form, which pages are used, so we can improve the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
  • if you are already a customer: manage the commercial relationship and meet legal duties, including accounts and tax (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

We do not use your data for advertising profiling and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Nature of the provision

Data marked as required on the Contact form are needed to answer you. If you do not provide them, we cannot handle the request. Portal access is only for users who already have an account.

5. Who can see the data

Data may be processed by authorised Rossi Group staff and by providers who run the website and the company management software, acting as processors under our instructions. Customer accounting data may be shared with our accountant, as required for bookkeeping. We do not disclose data for unrelated commercial purposes.

6. Where data are stored

Data are stored in the European Union, on the systems we use to manage the company and the website. No transfer outside the EU is intended for the ordinary operation of this site.

7. How long we keep data

Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up, and then deleted or archived only if a contract or legal duty follows. Customer and accounting records are kept for the periods required by Italian law (as a rule up to 10 years for accounting documents). Login session data last for the session or a short technical period. Statistics are kept in aggregate form.

8. Your rights

You may ask to access your data, rectify them, erase them, restrict processing, receive them in a portable format where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it). To exercise your rights, write to info@rossi-srl.it.

9. Minors

The site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

10. Cookies

The site uses only technical cookies needed for it to work. Details are in the cookie policy.

11. Changes

We may update this notice if the site or the law changes. The version published on this page is the one in force.
